The resurrection of Jesus Christ, stands out as the single most important day in the history of humankind. It is the triumphant declaration of God’s power over sin, death and the grave.
Whilst many enjoy the easter eggs and a well deserved extended bank holiday weekend, we remember how the suffering and death of Jesus Christ was the culmination of His love for the entire world (John 3:16). However, that’s not where it ends, because on third day he rose again (1 Corinthians 15:4).
The empty tomb is the living promise that we too can walk in newness of life through repentance, baptism in Jesus’ name and the infilling of the Holy Ghost.
During this season we celebrate the love of a living Saviour who continues to transform hearts and restore hope. May your faith be renewed and your faith strengthened. No situation in our lives is beyond the reach of His resurrection power.
Jesus Christ is risen and with that in mind, we too can live in victory.
