Planning Permission Granted!

We are grateful to share an important milestone in the journey of The Well: planning permission has now been granted for improvements to the building that will become our future church home in South Norwood.

Our heart as a church has always been to introduce people to Jesus Christ and to help them grow as disciples. This building marks another step forward as we seek to fulfil the Great Commission and establish a sanctuary for worship, prayer, discipleship and community.

The approved plans include enhancements to the building’s exterior, such as new cladding and upgraded windows. These improvements will help create a welcoming and practical environment where worshippers and those in need can gather.

While we are thankful for the building, we recognise that the Church is not a structure but the body of believers, called to proclaim the gospel in every place, including here in South Norwood. Our prayer is that this sanctuary will be a place where many come to know Christ personally, where faith is strengthened and where we can continue to serve our community.

Receiving planning permission is a significant step forward. In the months ahead, we will begin preparing the building for this new chapter. We remain grateful for God’s faithfulness and for all who have prayed, supported and shared in this vision.

We look ahead with faith and expectation, trusting God’s continued leading. Our hope is that this will be a place where many come to “drink” from the Living Water Jesus offers, and where lives are transformed for His glory.

“Whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst.”

John 4:14
