It was truly an honour to be part of the South Norwood Community Festival on 5 July 2026! For the very first time, we set up our stall and stepped into the heart of our local community.
Our main goal for the day was simply to connect. We wanted to let South Norwood know who we are, but more importantly we wanted to share the love of Jesus Christ. It was a sun soaked day, a vibrant atmosphere and we were deeply privileged to engage with so many wonderful members of the public, alongside dedicated local businesses and fellow charities. It was inspiring to see the collective desire to see our community take positive strides to grow.
Throughout the day, our stall became a hub of conversations and smiles. We were blessed to hand out free Bibles and encouraging gospel tracts to those seeking truth and comfort. Of course, we made sure the youngest members of our community left happy, handing out balloons and sweets to children, bringing a little extra joy to their festival experience. Hearing your stories and sharing in your laughter reminded us of why we are so passionate about this community.
This festival was just the beginning. As many of you know, we are currently working hard behind the scenes on our new premises on Denmark Road. While the building is currently undergoing extensive refurbishment, we are looking ahead with great anticipation. Once these works are completed, The Well will have a permanent, much greater presence right here in South Norwood.
