As we pause to reflect during this festive season, we do so with sincerely grateful hearts. The birth of Jesus Christ is more than a historical event; it is a divine moment in time when the love of God was expressed to all humankind.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)
It was the angel of the LORD that proclaimed, “Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people” (Luke 2:10). That same joy remains with us today. No matter the challenges we have faced this past year, we are reminded that Jesus Christ is faithful to His promises, present in our circumstances and remains the greatest gift we have or will ever receive.
I pray that your homes will be filled with peace and your families strengthened with unity and love. May this season bring healing where there has been hurt, comfort where there has been loss and renewed faith where hope had almost gone.
No matter where you are in your life, know that Jesus Christ is near and loves each and every one of you.
May the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
