We are excited to introduce our “Steps to Salvation” pre-baptism classes, a journey through Scripture designed to help you understand the free gift of salvation.
“Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Romans 10:17. To truly believe, we must first hear and understand the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Our prayer is that as we study God’s Word together, your heart will be stirred, and you’ll come to know Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour.
This session introduces you to Jesus Christ; fully God and fully man. We will explore His divine nature, His mission to redeem humankind, and the lasting impact of His death, burial and resurrection on our lives today.
Here, we will examine the fall of humanity through Adam’s sin and how it brought separation from God to all humankind. You will gain an understanding of our need for redemption and how God’s plan of salvation through Jesus Christ restores what was lost.
This class focuses on the first aspect of the New Birth; water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ. We will explain what it means to be “born of water,” how baptism in the name of Jesus is an essential step in salvation, and why it represents both repentance and the washing away of sins.
In this session, we will explore the baptism of the Holy Spirit; what it means to be born of the Spirit. We will look at how God promised to pour out His Spirit on all flesh (Acts 2:16–18) and how the receiving of the Holy Spirit restores fellowship with God and empowers believers to live a victorious and Spirit-led life.
We will discuss spiritual growth, holiness and how to cultivate a daily relationship with Jesus through prayer, study and fellowship, reflecting the image of Christ in our everyday lives.
