The Bible is the divinely inspired Word of God. It is the absolute truth and highest authority within the Church (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21).
There is but ONE GOD who manifests Himself as FATHER, SON and HOLY SPIRIT. He is our Father because he created all things; as Son, He redeemed us from sin. He resides within His Church and empowers it as Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Ephesians 4:6; John 14:16-18).
JESUS, the Christ is the incarnate Word; God manifest in Flesh, the invisible God made visible (John 1:14; Hebrews 1:3). God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself (2 Corinthians 5:19). The Godhead dwells fully and completely in Jesus Christ (Colossians 1:19; 2:9). He is the Only Begotten Son of God; fully God and fully Man (John 3:16; Isaiah 9:6).
We believe that salvation is the result of God’s grace and can not be earned by our own merit. God’s grace is accessed through faith in Christ. True faith results in acts of loving obedience to God’s call to repent and be born again of water and Spirit. (Ephesians 2:8; Acts 4:12; James 2:26; Acts 2:37-39; John 3:5)
The New Birth (Water and Spirit baptism) is necessary for one to enter the Kingdom of God (John 3:5). Those who believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ, repent and are baptised (by total immersion) in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of their sins, shall receive the Gift of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38-41). The born-again believer (regenerated) is baptised into the Body of Christ (the Church) on receipt of the Holy Spirit; and those that are led by the Spirit are the sons of God (Romans 8:9-14).
We believe that the baptism of the Holy Spirit is received by faith. The Holy Spirit baptises believers into the Body of Christ, adopting them as sons. The sign accompanying this baptism is unknown tongues. The enduring evidence is a life that displays the fruit of God’s love (1 Corinthians 12:13; 2 Peter 1:4; Acts 2:4, 10:44; Galatians 5:22-23).
Communion (The Lord’s Supper) is a solemn proclamation of Christ’s death. It is a memorial to be regularly observed until He returns (Matthew 26:26-29; 1 Corinthians 11:20-31).
The Church (the dead and those alive in Christ) will be caught up together to meet Christ in the air, prior to His Second Coming (1 Thessalonians 4:16, 17). There is to be a resurrection of the dead at the Second Coming of Christ, and the Final Judgement of the unjust (Hebrews 9:27; Revelation 20:11-15).
